History archive

eastsideThe old tearooms at Brough village is the site of the history archive and exhibition for the WWII installations on Dunnet Head and Burifa Hill. The Trust holds the plans of the site and a lot of other information about the Gee station and radar station and their networks with other sites. There is a presentation by the Historical Radar Archive, a catalogue of information available for viewing and we are also hoping to get some communications equipment on loan. We also have an extensive photographic library and letters from people who were stationed at both sites during WWII. Regular donators to the Trust will be able to access information during the normal opening times free of charge, but it would appreciated if they let us know that they plan to visit.
