From Malaga airport follow the signs for Almeria along the E15 until you get to the turn off for Algarrobo, then turn inland for Competa by taking the last exit off the roundabout.  It should take you around 40 minutes to reach the turn off, it is the one after El Ingenio shopping centre at the Velez Malaga/Torre del Mar turn off.  El Ingenio/Eroski is open late into the evening and a good place to stop for supplies.   Follow the road to Competa and keep going up towards the centre.  You can unload your bags in the main square, but do not leave your car there or no doubt you will be fined!  There are a few places to park, but the best one is the main car park (closed on Saturday mornings for the market) and walk up La Rampa.  More instructions to follow if you book!
