GeoVation Challenge with a prize fund of £25,000 to support the development of winning ideas. enter-the-geo-challenge-button

Do you have an idea that uses geography in helping people connect to farmers and locally sustainable sources of food?

The first GeoVation Challenge for 2010-11: ‘How can Britain feed itself?’ runs from 16 June to 3 September. Shortlisted ideas teams will be invited to a weekend GeoVation Camp to develop selected ideas into prototype working models of new ventures.

There will be an award for the idea that makes the best use of OS OpenData™ too.

GeoVation is about helping communities address their needs through geographic data, skills and expertise.  Visit the website at http://www.geovation.org.uk/geovationchallenge/  to find out more and enter the Challenge.
